Background:

As recent partner in the Seegmiller Johnson Law Firm, James Johnson has already exceeded all expectations of an attorney with his experience, netting over fifteen million in verdicts and settlements since 2006. James is relentless in his goal of obtaining the best settlements and verdicts for his clients. He never holds back, and isn’t afraid to be firm in his convictions. James leaves no stone unturned, and investigates every option possible when working for his clients.

Education:

James attended both the University of Utah and California State University Sacramento where he studied Biochemistry and ran collegiate track and field. James earned numerous academic and athletic awards for excellence, including the coveted Governors Cup Award. James earned his Juris Doctorate from Trinity Law School in Santa Ana, California. James attended the Harvard Law School Program of Instruction for Lawyers, as well as Jerry Spence Trial Lawyers College, as part of his post graduate education. James joined the firm in 1996 and became a partner in 2008.

Community Service:

James Johnson has always made Pro-Bono work a priority, and continues to assist clients in need. James has also served alongside William Seegmiller with The Reinhart Foundation a “Guatemala Sustainability Project”, where he travels to Guatemala providing and installing stoves and water purifiers to indigent families. James is also a frequent volunteer at the Soup Kitchens in Orange County and Sacramento. He is married to Evelyn Johnson and they have three young daughters.

James is a member of The Professional Association of the Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles, The American Bar Association, The Consumer Attorneys of California, The American Association for Justice, and The Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
