Background:
William Seegmiller has been practicing law for more than twenty eight years. As
founder of Seegmiller Johnson, William has focused tirelessly on individuals and
families who have experienced serious personal injuries. He limits his practice
to death and injury cases, allowing him to solely focus on the special characteristics
these types of cases present. Over the past 28 years, Mr. Seegmiller has handled
thousands of cases, resulting in verdicts and settlements in excess of One Hundred
Million Dollars ($100,000,000). William has always maintained an aggressive and
confident approach while taking on powerful insurance companies, trucking companies,
and government agencies.
Education:
William Seegmiller graduated from the University of California with a Bachelors
Degree in Political Science. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of
the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where he was selected for the highly competitive
Traynor National Moot Court Team. William was also a member of the prestigious Pacific
Law Review. Since establishing his own firm in 1981, William has continued his post-graduate
education. William attended the Harvard Law School Program of Instruction for Lawyers,
as well as The Jerry Spence Trial Lawyers College for the past twelve years. He
has also obtained his Masters Degree from USC.
Community Service:
William Seegmiller knows the importance of giving back to the community, and he
has been involved in a multitude of charitable organizations. He is proud of his
involvement in The Trial Lawyers Care, 9/11 Victims Federal Relief Fund, a trial
lawyers care program established to help victims of the 9/11 tragedies. He has also
traveled to northern Mexico with the “Corazon Familia” group on two different occasions,
where he and his family participated in building homes for indigent families. William
also continues to volunteer with The Reinhart Foundation a “Guatemala Sustainability
Project”, where he and some associates travel to Guatemala and provide and install
stoves and water purifiers to families in need. In addition, William has traveled
to Cuba several times in a personal effort to assist families with much needed medical
and dental supplies. William is also an Eagle Scout and active volunteer with The
Boy Scouts of America.
Professional Associations:
William Seegmiller served as a Pro Tem judge for The California Superior Court for
Ten years, and he also served as a Mediator. He is also a member of the Professional
Association of the Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles, The American Bar Association,
The Consumer Attorneys of California, and the American Association for Justice.
Furthermore, Mr. Seegmiller has been admitted into the Million Dollar Advocates
Forum, as well as the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. He has also been listed
as a member of “Elite Lawyers of America”.
